Former Bayfield state Rep. Fred Clark, who won the Democratic primary, faces Republican Michael Alfonso in the general election. Alfonso is endorsed by President Donald Trump and is the son-in-law of Department of Transportation Secretary and former U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy. The safe Republican seat in northern Wisconsin is being vacated by Republican gubernatorial candidate Tom Tiffany.
