Why should voters elect you?
I believe all governments should be efficient, accountable, and focused on real results — not empty promises. My record speaks for itself: smart solutions, fiscal responsibility, working together, and a commitment to strengthening the community. I have the experience that Assembly representatives need to hit the ground running on day one. Just as I've done on the FDL City Council and county board, Now, I'm ready to bring that same leadership to the state Assembly.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Fiscal management — government should live within its means — just like families do. I'm committed to cutting waste, improving efficiency, and making sure taxpayer dollars are spent wisely. With a proven track record of reducing waste and improving services, I'm able to bring practical, results-driven leadership to ensure government works better for everyone. People in this state are hurting financially, I'm committed to lower income and property taxes and finding the waste and abuse in our state government and holding those responsible for it accountable.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
1) We have to get our local property taxes in line. My first job on day one is repealing the Gov. Evers 400 year veto. 2) The state school funding formula is broken and need to be torn apart and rebuilt.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
The name Fond du Lac is French for "bottom of the lake." Early French explorers gave our community this name because it sits at the southern tip of Lake Winnebago. For centuries, this area served as an important crossroads for Native American tribes, fur traders, and settlers traveling through what would become Wisconsin. Today, Fond du Lac continues to be a gateway to Lake Winnebago and one of Wisconsin's great communities. Fond du Lac was also once known as the "Railroad City" of Wisconsin. By the late 1800s, multiple rail lines converged here, helping transform the city into a major manufacturing and transportation hub for the state.
