Why should voters elect you?
As the fiscal and family values conservative running for the State Assembly, I want to bring our shared family values and the expertise I have gained through my business career and public service to Madison. I am committed to advocating for our community and ensuring our voices remain heard at the state level.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
The top issue facing families in our district is affordability. Rising property taxes, inflation, and the increasing cost of everyday necessities are putting pressure on household budgets. Throughout my service in the state Assembly, on the New Berlin Board of Education, and on the City Council, I have worked to keep property taxes as low as possible while maintaining quality services. To address this challenge, I will continue fighting for lower taxes, responsible government spending, and a simpler tax code that allows families and small businesses to keep more of what they earn. Wisconsin taxpayers deserve a government that lives within its means and focuses on providing value, not growing bureaucracy.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
Wisconsin government should focus on doing the basics well while respecting taxpayers. For too long, government has continued to grow, adding programs and spending without always evaluating whether they are effective or necessary. We should lower taxes for working families, retirees, and small businesses by trimming waste, eliminating unnecessary spending, and making government more efficient. Just like families and businesses must live within their means, state government should do the same. By prioritizing core services, reducing bureaucracy, and demanding accountability for every tax dollar spent, Wisconsin can remain financially strong while allowing citizens to keep more of their hard-earned money. Responsible budgeting — not bigger government — is the path to long-term prosperity.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
My favorite Wisconsin history fact is how our state's lakes and rivers have long been a gathering place for families and communities. That resonates with me because some of my favorite Wisconsin memories are spending summer days out on the water boating with my family. Whether it's enjoying the sunshine, exploring new spots, or simply spending time together, Wisconsin's waterways have helped create countless family traditions for generations, including my own.
