Rep. Jill Billings, D-La Crosse, faces Sparta Republican dairy farmer Cedric Schnitzler and La Crosse independent Paul Michael Weber in the general election. Billings was first elected to the Assembly in 2011 and narrowly won reelection in 2024 when she defeated Schnitzler by 4 percentage points.
