Adults ages 65 and older made up the fastest-growing age group in Milwaukee's homeless services system between 2024 and 2025.

While still accounting for a smaller share of Milwaukee's homeless population than children and teenagers, the number of new homeless services clients over the age of 65 grew by roughly a third between 2024 and 2025.
