Q&A with the Candidate

Why should voters elect you?

I have a proved track record of serving my constituents by sending surveys, holding frequent town hall meetings, E-Updates and keeping in touch with voters. I’m proud of not have missed a Senate Roll Call vote since February 2011, when Gov. Walker signed Act 10 repealing collective bargaining rights in Wisconsin.

What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?

Improving the quality of life for my constituents and holding government accountable. Many people believe Wisconsin has taken a step backwards under many years of Republican control of the State Legislature.

How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?

After the November 3rd election I believe voters will see a major change in how the state Senate operates and what issues will finally receive proper attention. For too long many important issues weren’t even a given public hearing or debate in committee.

What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?

Wisconsin once led the country with the Progressive Movement improving our quality life.
