Why should voters send you to congress?
I don't want to be there. I want to be in my home in Wisconsin with my community, I do however want to give as much back to the people as possible. I will vote for what they want for my whole term and leave knowing I voted on behalf of what the people wanted and not the lobbyist. This is not a career position or a job to gain power. This is an opportunity to make every day people's life's better.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Healthcare is a major issue. I would write and push a bill that would require medical facility providers to have healthcare for staff in order to run any healthcare facility in the nation. I would write a bill and propose a resolution that would require insurance companies to return 75% of the last fiscal year healthcare payments to the insurance company back to the consumer if they do not use their health insurance in the last fiscal year for any medical needs.
What expertise would you bring into congress? How would it help your district?
I am not organization backed; I am running truly Independent. That makes my only priority, the people of my district. My plans are to meet monthly with each county in my district to discuss their needs in real time with the voters. bring in open communication. Giving the people in my district their power back on what they want to do to move forward and hand voting power back over to them regarding congressional votes
Should Congress exert more oversight over the president? Why or why not?
Yes, we should have better checks and balances on the president and on congress. Why, congress is in charge of the government purse. If the president knows we are in debt and still spending money. That's an issue and a major problem.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
That Pepin County in Wisconsin was never supposed to be a county. It was made up because of an angry politician that didn't get his way. So, he made up a county up. On February 25th,1858, by a special act of the Wisconsin legislature. No longer to be part of Dunn southern township or part of Chippewa
