Q&A with the Candidate

Why should voters elect you?

I seek positive change in our Wisconsin government and to restore the bonds of trust between all of our citizens and our elected representatives. Our current public policy business model is overshadowed by a Cold War of partisanship. Let us begin anew; remembering on all sides that civility is not a sign of weakness but a frontier of forward progress. Let us explore what problems unite us instead of belaboring those problems that divide us. A house divided will not stand. Let us not only occupy bridges, let’s build them!

What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?

We must return to a place of affordability where our families can budget for housing, health care, and food, without compromising their basic financial stability. The afordability issue points to the fact that Inflation and household incomes are at great disparity. The affordability issue is closely linked to individual tax burdens, particularly property tax, and to expanding work opportunities, while reducung regulatory burdens on business which are reflected in consumer costs, all of which I will address upon election.

How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?

Let us reaffirm our Wisconsin legacy of strong agriculture and family farming. Let us end our partisan differences and find common ground to solve our real problems.

What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?

Wisconsin is a place of arts, architecture, festivals of all types, vacations and recreation, markets, and the best place in the country to raise a family.
