Rep. Ryan Clancy, D-Milwaukee, faces Democrat shopkeeper Bridget Maniaci in the Democratic primary. Clancy was one of two founding members of the Wisconsin State Assembly’s Socialist Caucus and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Maniaci is running as a progressive Democrat. Whoever wins will face Milwaukee Republican Yasmine Outlaw in the general election. The district favors Democrats.
