Rep. Ryan Clancy, D-Milwaukee, faces Democrat shopkeeper Bridget Maniaci in the Democratic primary. Clancy was one of two founding members of the Wisconsin State Assembly’s Socialist Caucus and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. Maniaci is running as a progressive Democrat. Whoever wins will face Milwaukee Republican Yasmine Outlaw in the general election. The district favors Democrats. Clancy was first elected to the Assembly in 2022 and won unopposed with 98% of the vote in 2024.
