Why should voters elect you?
I'm offering a different perspective on how we should be running our government, with a focus on planting the seeds for my generation and future generations to thrive. I seek to reduce our state income tax, offer interest free home loans for young families and first time home buyers, and one of the only candidates in the 26th Assembly District in favor of a temporary moratorium on ai data centers. I also firmly believe that we need to reevaluate and examine every facet on how we, as the state, spend the average working person's tax dollars.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Housing has been a major challenge, the current market does not favor the younger generation, with multiple factors that exacerbate the problem. Expanding WHEDA and offering interest free mortgages to young families and first time home owners will encourage new homes being built and pull younger people away from expensive unaffordable apartments, which should in turn reduce rent prices as well as allowing younger generations to plant their roots and stay in our local communities.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
We should be paying down our state debt of $54 billion with any and all surpluses until our debt is below $10 billion. This debt is a future tax on younger generations, and by being responsible now, we can reduce our overall taxes in the future.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
We are the largest producer of cranberries and ginseng in the entire country!
