What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Data Centers. Moratorium bill on any new. Strict accountabilty for the current.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
It should be frugal, transparent and have a high degree of accountability from top to bottom. Our current state budget is out of control ... since 2010 has increased by almost double ... going from about $65 billion to about $115 biĺlion in 15 short years. Transparent means no NDA's and full public disclosure in advance of projects affecting habitability, safety, and/or significant fiscal impact.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
Our mascot being the badger and not the miner. I think this industrious and tenacious protector of its home and family is a fitting representative for our state.
