Why should voters elect you?
Wisconsin needs to prevent taxes from making housing unaffordable for the retired and the young. We need a business friendly state to grow the tax base and keep young college graduates here to work and build a life. We need to protect rights for children and families, the basis of a strong society. Eliminate fraud and waste in government.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Taxes are our biggest problem. Many people are struggling with high property taxes and rents. All levels of government are spending beyond their means.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
We need to make government more efficient. There should be incentives for small units of government to share resources and costs.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
I love the story of Joshua Glover, a fugitive slave, who escaped to SE WI in the 1850s, challenged the national debate about slavery leading up to the Civil War, and led to the founding of the party of freedom, the Republican Party, in the weeks following his escape.
