Why should voters elect you?
I want to bring money from the state to my district schools, farmers, fire departments, small businesses and roads. The local communities are not getting enough money to survive but the state is giving $1.5 billion from the public money in sales tax credit for construction marerials and equipment to the data centers being built in Wisconsin.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Public education. Our school districts cannot balance their budget because they are losing millions of dollars every year due to the vouchers going to private schools and open enrollment going to out of the district schools.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
We need to support our small local communities instead of the big corporations and put a moratorium on data centers until we, the residents, decide and vote if we want a data center in our town due to the use of our water and energy. AI should be used in research and to reduce work that benefits human beings, not to diminish our human abilities and take away our privacy.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
The first kindergarten in the U.S. was established in Watertown in 1856.
