Why should voters elect you?
In recent years, partisan politics have stalled our system, with too many elected officials prioritizing their party’s interests over the needs of the people they represent. I’m running to serve my community by putting people first. Our neighborhoods are struggling under the economic pressure caused by leaders who’ve lost sight of why they were elected. My goal is to ease the burden of poor decision-making and foster an environment where the people of Wisconsin can truly thrive.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Over the past few months, I’ve spoken with many residents of District 15, and the concern I hear most often is a lack of representation. I believe that a lack of accountability is at the root of many issues facing Wisconsin today. Too often, elected officials disregard the wishes of the people on matters ranging from data centers to property tax hikes. My goal is to restore an environment where people are respected and truly represented by serving as a bridge between major parties. I’m committed to ending the all-or-nothing approach to politics in Wisconsin by forcing negotiation and bipartisanship.
How should Wisconsin government operate differently than in the past?
Our government is unique compared to most others in the world because it draws its power from the will of the people. Unfortunately, that principle has been largely forgotten in today’s political climate. Wisconsin’s government needs to refocus on serving the best interests of its residents, rather than catering to national political parties. It should concentrate on creating an environment where the people of Wisconsin can thrive and on protecting, rather than restricting, the individual liberties guaranteed to all Americans.
What is your favorite fun Wisconsin history fact?
My favorite Wisconsin history fact is that it was once part of the Virginia Colony.
