Why should voters elect you?
As a current state representative, small businesses owner, mom, community leader and retired college teacher, I bring a variety of experiences and skills to this job. I believe in doing the most good for the most people with the resources we have. Public service has been a critical part of my career for over 30 years in both corporate and non-proft settings.
What is the top issue in your district? How would you address it?
Affordability. Healthcare, public education, housing, child care and food assistance are so intertwined as contributing factors in affordability challenges. I introduced the Opportunity Act to address poverty. I hosted and continue to engage community partners and constituents in on-going discussions and resource analysis. Part of the solution will be to increase local government funding and better support fundamental services people need so when they thrive our communities thrive as well.

Eleanor Roosevelt visited the historic Woman’s Club Building in Janesville.
